You Can Be A Successful Father
Just as an athletic coach offers experience, skills, and strategies to his players, an experienced dad can coach other men to grow in the very important role of a father.
The Carolina Pregnancy Center offers a program for dads as a platform for our male clients to gain the knowledge and skills required to become successful dads.
The Importance of Dad
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, roughly 6 out of 10 men aged 15 and over are fathers. Most men become fathers between the ages of 20 and 24.
Children who grow up with involved fathers are:
- 39% more likely to earn mostly A’s in school
- 45% less likely to repeat a grade
- 60% less likely to be suspended or expelled from school
- Twice as likely to go to college and find stable employment after high school
- 75% less likely to have a teen birth
- 80% less likely to spend time in jail.
