When should I take a pregnancy test?

Our on-site pregnancy tests are among the most sensitive urine-based tests on the market. If your period is regular, we suggest testing one or two days after your missed period. You may want to wait a few more days with an irregular monthly cycle. Even if you've taken a home pregnancy test, get the results verified with one of ours.

Why do I need an ultrasound?

Ultrasound provides real-time information about your pregnancy. An ultrasound will tell you how far along you are, if your pregnancy is viable (a heartbeat is detected), and if your pregnancy is developing in the uterus. This information may determine what options are available to you.

Could i have an std?

Get tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) regularly if you are sexually active. The Center For Disease Control (CDC) records millions of new STD cases yearly. We refer you to the Pitt County Health Department for free testing and treatment of certain STDs.
